Former IBF junior lightweight titleholder Tevin Farmer will have his third bout in less than six months when he faces Patrick Okine on December 1 at the 2300 Arena in his hometown of Philadelphia, Pa.

The 33-year-old Farmer (32-5-1, 7 KOs) is coming off his first knockout win in five years, when he erased Oscar Barajas with a single left hand in six rounds just two months ago. This fight, which is scheduled for eight rounds, will be his third straight at that venue, and will headline a card from R&B Promotions.

Farmer had been out of the ring from January of 2020, when he lost his world title to Joseph Diaz Jr., until this past June due to a variety of reasons, including a rematch with Diaz that never materialized.

Now a promotional and managerial free agent, Farmer told The Ring in September the plan is to stay busy and then make his move towards contention in 2024.

Okine (21-6-2, 18 KOs) of Accra, Ghana is coming off two stoppage defeats in his last three bouts, including a sixth round stoppage loss to Cletus Seldin in his last bout on October 10 in New York.

The card will also feature a number of other prospects, including Oluwafemi Oyeleye (14-0, 8 KOs) of Long Beach, Calif. against Luis Solis (26-17-4, 22 KOs) of Yucatan, Mexico in a six-round junior middleweight bout, and Ghandi Romain (2-1, 2 KOs) of Union City, N.J. against Jamar Leach (1-1) of Philadelphia in a four-round welterweight bout.
