Unbeaten junior featherweight Edivaldo Ortega will return to action Saturday night against Eduardo Ramirez in a 10-round bout at the Polideportivo Centenario in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico.

The fight will air throughout Mexico on Azteca TV and in the United States on beIN Sports en Espanol, beginning at 11 p.m. ET/ 8 p.m. PT.

Ortega (24-0-1, 11 knockouts) has not fought since April 2, when he dropped Juan Carlos Sanchez Jr. en route to a 10-round unanimous decision victory.

Ortega, who is ranked No. 8 by the IBF and 7 by the WBO, has won his last four bouts by decision.

On paper, Ramirez may be the stiffest foe Ortega will face. Ramirez will also have the hometown crowd in his favor as he resides in Los Mochis.

Ramirez (18-1-2, 7 KOs) was victorious in his last bout, defeated Alan Salazar by decision over six rounds on July 2.

The 23-year-old Ramirez suffered his only loss as a pro in his previous fight on March 11, losing by decision over 10 rounds to Juan Ocura.

In the co-feature bout, Jorge Paez Jr. (39-8-2, 23 KOs) will face Johnny Navarrete (32-8-1, 15 KOs) in a 10-round junior middleweight bout.

Also on the Zanfer Promotions card, fringe junior flyweight contender Jose Manuel Sanchez (14-2, 8 KOs) squares off against former strawweight world titleholder Mario Rodriguez (19-12-4, 12 KOs) in a 10-round bout.
