Junior middleweight contender Vanes Martirosyan, of Glendale, Calif., will face Ryan Davis, a journeyman from East Saint Louis, Ill., on the undercard of a main event featuring RING and WBO featherweight champion Mikey Garcia first title defense against two-division titlewinner Juan Manuel Lopez on June 15 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Tex.

Martirosyan (32-0-1, 20 knockouts), who is 27, was last in the ring for November’s ninth-round technical decision draw with Erislandy Lara (17-1-2, 11 KOs) after an accidental clash of heads caused a cut over Martirosyan’s left eye and forced the verdict to go to the scorecards.

Davis (24-10-3, 9 KOs) is coming off a fourth-round stoppage loss to Jorge Melendez in March.

In the HBO-televsied main event, Garcia (31-0, 26 KOs) is coming off January’s eight-round technical unanimous decision over Orlando Salido, who scored knockout wins over Lopez in April of 2011 and March of 2012.

Lopez (33-2, 30 KOs), who turns 30 in June, sandwiched a second-round knockout of Mike Oliver in October of 2011 between the losses to Salido, and has won his past two fights by ninth- and second-round knockouts.
