The super middleweight fight between beltholder Andre Ward and Allan Green has been rescheduled for June 19, Showtime Sports announced on Thursday.

The fight, which was originally scheduled for April 24 before Ward suffered a knee injury, will take place at the Oracle Arena in Ward’s hometown of Oakland, Calif., and be televised on Showtime (10 p.m. ET/PT).

Ward (20-0, 13 knockouts), who will be making the first defense of the title belt he won on a dominant 11th-round technical decision over Mikkel Kessler, is THE RING's No. 2-rated super middleweight.

Green (27-1, 19 KOs), who replaced Jermain Taylor in Showtime's Super Six 168-pound tournament, is the magazine's No. 7-rated super middleweight.

Green, of Tulsa, Okla., has won six consecutive fights, and enters the tournament with zero points heading into Group Stage 2.
