Burns has operation on career-threatening jaw injury
WBO lightweight titleholder Ricky Burns has undergone surgery to repair the broken jaw he sustained in his controversial draw title defense against Raymundo Beltran on Saturday. The injury is career threatening, according to Burns’ promoter.
