Cruiserweights Youri Kalenga and Yunier Dorticos will do battle on May 20 in a 12-round bout at the Palais des Sports in Paris, France, manager Gary Hyde told RingTV.
Kalenga (22-2, 15 knockouts), who is managed by Hyde, was victorious in his last bout on Nov. 7, when he dominated Roberto Feliciano Bolonti before knocking him out in the ninth round.
Kalenga, who currently resides in France, lost to WBA cruiserweight titlist Denis Lebedev by unanimous decision in April of last year, in a bout in which both fighters hit the canvas.
The 28-year-old is ranked No. 7 at cruiserweight by THE RING magazine.
In his last bout on Dec. 12, Dorticos (20-0, 19 KOs) stopped Fulgencio Zuniga in the second round.
The hard-hitting Cuban, who currently resides in Miami, holds wins over fringe contenders Eric Fields, Hamilton Ventura and Edison Miranda.
Dorticos is ranked No. 2 by the WBA, while Kalenga is ranked No. 3.
No word on whether a network will broadcast the fight as of yet.
