On Thursday the British Boxing Board of Control announced the findings of its monthly meeting with regard to the various BBBofC champions, mandatories and eliminators in several weight classes:

Light heavyweight – Bob Ajisafe (Champion) : Bob Ajisafe vs. Travis Dickinson

Due to Travis Dickinson suffering a knockout defeat on April 4, 2015, in Newcastle, this championship will be considered at a future date.

Super middleweight – Vacant : Paul Smith vacated the title.

It was decided that Callum Smith will face Rocky Fielding. The purse bid is scheduled for May 13; the bout is to take place by the end of July.

Middleweight – Vacant : John Ryder vs. Nick Blackwell will contest the vacant title.

Eddie Hearn won the purse bid and the bout will take place at a date and venue to be decided.

Junior middleweight – Liam Smith (Champion) : Liam Smith vs. Kris Carslaw

Following Liam Williams’ withdrawal due to injury, it was decided that the above contest will be put up for purse bid scheduled for May 13; the bout is to take place by the end of July.

Welterweight – Frankie Gavin (Champion)

It was decided that Glenn Foot will face Sam Eggington in a final eliminator. The purse bid is scheduled for May 13; the bout is to take place by the end of July.

Lightweight – Vacant : Scott Cardle vs. Craig Evans will contest the vacant title.

Following an agreement between both parties, Eddie Hearn will promote the above contest on May 30 at the O2 Arena in London as part of his pay-per-view promotion.

Junior lightweight – Liam Walsh (Champion) : Liam Walsh vs. Troy James

Following an agreement between both parties, Frank Warren will promote the above contest at a date and venue to be decided.

Featherweight – Vacant : Ryan Walsh vs. Samir Mouneime

Following an agreement between both parties, Frank Warren will promote the above contest on June 27 with the venue to be decided. It was also decided that David Savage and Darren Traynor will meet in an eliminator to be promoted by Lee McAllister on April 18 in Aberdeen.

Bantamweight – Lee Haskins (Champion) : Lee Haskins vs. Ryan Farrag

It was decided that the above contest will be put up for purse bid scheduled for May 13; the bout is to take place by the end of July.

Flyweight – Vacant : Iain Butcher vs. Luke Wilton

Frank Warren will promote the above contest on April 18 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
