Fans are welcome to witness the kick-off press conferences for the May 9 Canelo Alvarez-James Kirkland showdown on Tuesday, March 3, at Minute Maid Park in Houston, where the fight takes place, and at The Aztec Theatre in San Antonio.

The scheduled 12-round junior middleweight bout will be televised on HBO but more than 40,000 fans are expected to fill Minute Maid Park, located at 501 Crawford Street. For fans who wish to attend the Houston press conference, gates open at 11:00 a.m. CT. The press conference begins at 12-noon.

Doors open at 4:00 p.m. CT for the San Antonio presser at The Aztec Theatre, located at 104 N. St. Mary’s Street. The presser begins at 5:00 p.m.

Tickets for Canelo-Kirkland – priced at $350, $150, $100, $50, $25 and $10 – go on sale on Tuesday, beginning at 10:00 a.m. CT, and be available for purchase at the Minute Maid Park Box Office (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) all Ticketmaster outlets, by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000, online at www.ticketmaster.com. There is a 19 ticket limit per household.
