RingTV interviewed Richard Abril after his heated staredown (and near scuffle) with Brandon Rios at the Los Angeles press conference for their April 14 showdown at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Abril, the WBA’s interim lightweight beltholder who will fight Rios for the vacant WBA title, said he called the popular slugger “insecure” and “desperate” and vowed to make Rios “look like garbage in the ring.”
