RingTV Cynthia Conte spoke with 2012 Olympian Natasha “Miss GB” Jonas (9-1, 7 KOs), who is coming off a three-fight win streak. She hails from Meyerside, Liverpool, training under 2015 Ring Magazine Trainer of the Year Joe Gallagher.

Jonas, a once promising football star who took up boxing at the age of 21 (after soccer injuries), became a stellar amateur and made history as the first British female to qualify for the Olympics. She lost an incredible fight in the 2012 London Games quarter finals against Katie Taylor, retired after the Olympic following more injuries, became a mother, and then came back to start her pro career.

Jonas challenges 10-0 WBC 130-pound titleholder Terri “Belter” Harper in the “Idols Become Rivals” main event on August 7 at Matchroom Fight Camp in Essex, England, live on Sky Sports and DAZN.
