Rabbit Punches podcast, episode 12

THE RING Magazine Editor Michael Rosenthal and U.K. Correspondent/Editor Tom Gray heap some well-deserved praise on the upcoming “Superfly” showcase, bid farewell to late Hall of Famer “Sugar” Ramos and take an early peak at the superfight that now lurks just around the corner: Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin.

Really enjoying these podcast guys, keep up the good work.

One point I’d like to make is in regards to the Hatton vs Tszyu fight. If you watch the fight back it’s clear (well at least to me) that Tszyu was still the bad ass everyone thought he was. The difference that night is that Hatton wouldn’t be denied. He literally walked through hell to win and I think Tszyu decided not to fight on after that point, not because he was in decline but more he had nothing else to prove. I think with revisionist history a lot of credit is unfairly taken away from Hatton. Still one of the best fights ever in a British ring.
