Welterweight Felix Diaz will face Levis Morales in a stay-busy bout on Dec. 16.

The 10-round bout will take place at the Maunoloa Night Club y Casino in Diaz’s hometown of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.

Diaz (18-1, 8 knockouts) has only fought once in 2016, grinding out a close 10-round unanimous decision over Sammy Vasquez on July 16.

In his previous bout, on Oct. 17 of last year, Diaz lost a 12-round majority decision to Lamont Peterson.

Diaz is ranked No. 13 by the WBO at 147 pounds.

In his only notable bout, Morales (14-3-1, 7 KOs), from Chontales, Nicaragua, was stopped by Luke Campbell in March of last year.

Unbeaten welterweight Carlos Adames (9-0, 8 KOs), considered as one of the Dominican Republic’s top prospects, will face John Renteria (13-3-1, 10 KOs) in an 11-round bout.

Lightweight Osvaldo Cabrera (12-0-1, 7 KOs) will square off against Richard Solano (15-2-1, 10 KOs) in an eight-round bout.

Junior featherweights Eliecer Aquino (18-2-1, 12 KOs) and Luis Hernandez (12-0-1, 8 KOs) square off in an eight-round bout.
