Fringe lightweight contender Antonio Moran squares off tonight against Juan Pablo Sanchez.
The 10-round bout will take place at the Auditorio Blackberry in Mexico City, D.F., Mexico. Telemundo will broadcast the fight, beginning at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT.
Moran (19-1, 13 knockouts) is coming off a first round knockout win over Uriel Perez on March 5. He has won his last three fights in a row since a 10-round unanimous decision loss to Luis Jesus Vidales Gutierrez in December of 2014.
Moran has fought all but one of his pro bouts in his hometown of Mexico City. His last six wins have come by way of stoppage.
Sanchez (30-12, 14 KOs) has not fought since June 19 of last year, when he stopped Ever Ceballos in the fourth round.
Prior to the Ceballos loss, Sanchez lost a close, 12-round unanimous decision to former featherweight contender Rene Alvarado. The loss snapped a seven-bout winning streak for Sanchez, who resides in the eastern Mexican state of Tabasco.
In the co-feature, bantamweights Martin Casillas and Salvador Juarez square off in an eight-round bout.
Casillas (15-7-1, 9 KOs) is winless in his last four bouts, while Juarez (6-3-2, 2 KOs) has won his last five bouts.
