Diego De La Hoya to headline

Unbeaten junior featherweight prospect Diego De La Hoya will return to action on Nov. 20, Golden Boy Promotions announced.
De La Hoya will fight Giovanni Delgado, of Mexico City, inside The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The eight-round bout will top a ‘Boxeo Estelar’ telecast, which will air live on Estrella TV. (The undercard will be streamed live on RingTVLive.com).
In his last bout on Sept. 4, De La Hoya (12-0, 7 knockouts) won a one-sided 10 -ound decision over Jesus Ruiz. De La Hoya was coming off a fourth-round knockout over Jose Estrella on July 2.
De La Hoya, who resides in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, is the younger cousin of Oscar De La Hoya and Joel De La Hoya, who has managed his career since turning pro in September of 2013.
Delgado (15-3, 9 KOs) has not fought since losing a 10 round decision to Joseph Diaz on May 9 at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Tex.
The southpaw Delgado has won three of his last six fights.
Opening the ‘Boxeo Estelar’ telecast will be a 10 round featherweight bout between hard-hitting Horacio Garcia (29-1, 21 KOs) and Raul Hidalgo (24-13, 18 KOs).
Unbeaten John Karl Sosa (13-0, 6 KOs) of Puerto Rico and Alan Sanchez (16-3-1, 8 KOs) of Fairfield, Calif. square off in an eight round welterweight bout.
The fight card on Nov. 20 will take place the night before Miguel Cotto and Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez square off down the famed Las Vegas Strip at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.
