LAS VEGAS — Floyd Mayweather Jr. revealed the reason for separating from former fiance Shantel Jackson as well as the fact that he lived near the area where rapper Tupac Shakur was gunned down in a September 1996 drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. These among other things were revealed during Wednesday's third of four 30-minute episodes of All Access: Mayweather vs. Maidana in advance of Saturday's defense of his RING and WBC welterweight championships against WBA counterpart Marcos Maidana.

"Three months ago, Ms. Jackson was pregnant with twin babies. These are a lot of things that people don't know," said Mayweather, 37, who will face the hard-hitting Maidana on Showtime Pay-Per-View from the MGM Grand.

"I wasn't brought up in a home to where I seen a husband and a wife. When I went to school, when they were talking about a husband and a wife, I'm like, 'That's bulls–t. They only show that type of s–t on T.V.' And I didn't have a stable home. I always had to fend for myself. I never knew about a one-on-one relationship. I'm not perfect."

During a segment of the documentary dedicated to Maidana (35-3, 31 KOs), the 30-year-old fighter has the likeness of his WBA belt tattooed onto his right thigh. Maidana earned the title with December's unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Adrien Broner.

"I'm gonna beat him up," said Maidana of Mayweather.
