The Timothy Bradley-Marcos Maidana fight has been rescheduled for July 17 in Rancho Mirage, Calif., near Bradley’s home in Palm Springs.
Maidana had to postpone the junior welterweight matchup because he injured his back during training. The fight was originally scheduled for June 19.
Bradley (25-0, 11 knockouts) is rated No. 1 by THE RING magazine. He easily outpointed Lamont Peterson in his most-recent fight. Maidana (28-1, 27 KOs) is rated No. 4. The Argentine is coming off a sensational sixth-round KO of Victor Cayo.
The fight will be televised on HBO.
