Mayweather-Alvarez streamed live from Mexico City
Sunday's press conference in Mexico City featuring RING No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter Floyd Mayweather Jr. and RING 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, representing the seventh stop of an 11-city tour promoting their Sept. 14, Showtime Pay Per View-televised clash at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, can be viewed by clicking here at noon ET/9 a.m. PT.
The event is being held at Monumento de los Niños Heroes in the heart of Mexico City, and is expected to draw thousands of fans to the monument, which honors the Niños Heroes – young cadets who died defending Mexico City's Chapultepec Castle on September 13, 1847 during the Mexican–American War.
The Niños Héroes are commemorated by a national holiday on September 13, just one day before the Mayweather-Alvarez fight. Mayweather is 44-0 with 26 knockouts, and Alvarez, 42-0-1, with 31 KOs.
