Diego Chaves, who faces fellow unbeaten welterweight standout Keith Thurman on Saturday on Showtime, is unknown to U.S. fans. However, Chaves was an amateur star in Argentina and one boxing writer familiar with his career says the boxing prodigy from a fighting family is “the most promising fighter in the country.”
