Nicholas Walters fails to make weight, loses WBA featherweight belt

Nicholas Walters was stripped of his WBA featherweight title after failing to make the division limit of 126 pounds for his HBO-televised bout against Miguel Marriaga on Saturday in New York City. Walters weighed in at 127.4 and later at 127. The belt will be on the line for Marriaga, who weighed in at 125.2, but not Walters.
