Two junior featherweight prospects square off in a crossroads bout on Tuesday night.
Omar Douglas and Frank De Alba will meet at the Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem, Penn. The 10-round bout will top a FOX Sports 1 broadcast, beginning at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT.
Both fighters have faced roughly the same level of opposition thus far in their careers but De Alba has fought over twice as many rounds as a pro.
In his last bout on Sept. 15, Douglas (15-0, 11 KOs) dropped Braulio Santos multiple times in the early rounds before winning a unanimous decision.
Prior to the Santos fight, the Wilmington, Del. resident had stopped eight of his previous nine opponents.
De Alba (17-1-2, 6 KOs) will be fighting in his first scheduled 10-round bout on Tuesday. De Alba, who resides in nearby Reading, has not tasted defeat since his pro debut in Jan. of 2011.
Like Douglas, De Alba has won 15 bouts in a row. In his last bout on Nov. 20, the southpaw won a one-sided, six-round decision over Jesus Lule.
Two hard-hitting and unbeaten prospects will also see action on the FOX Sports 1 broadcast. Welterweight Miguel Cruz will face Virgil Green in an eight-round bout. Cruz has knocked out his last eight opponents, while Green has won his last three consecutive bouts.
Light heavyweight Leo Hall will fight Dustin Craig Echard in an eight-round bout.
