Shawn Porter will defend his IBF welterweight title against former titleholder Paulie Malignaggi on April 19, according to Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer.

Schaefer wrote in an e-mail that the bout between Porter and Malignaggi is "done" for that date.

The clash will be part of a Showtime-televised card headlined by a 175-pound IBF/WBA unification bout between Bernard Hopkins and Beibut Shumenov that will also include Peter Quillin's third defense of his WBO middleweight title against Lukas Konecny at The D.C. Amory in Washington, D.C.
