WBA featherweight titleholder Leo Santa Cruz congratulated Abner Mares on putting up a tremendous fight in their June 9 rematch, and said he looks forward to unifying belts against Gary Russell Jr., Oscar Valdez and Josh Warrington. Santa Cruz also says he wants to go for a fourth title in a fourth weight class by fighting at 130 pounds one day.
