RingTV’s Cynthia Conte spoke with unified WBC/WBO 140-pound titleholder Jose Ramirez (25-0, 17 KOs) who puts his belts on the line against former beltholder Viktor Postol (31-2, 12 KOs) on Saturday (Aug. 29). Ramirez was set to face his WBC mandatory challenger Feb. 2 in China and on May 9 in Fresno, CA, but both bouts were canceled to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ramirez say he’s looking to collect the other 140-pound belts by challenging Ring champ Josh Taylor. But first is Postol.
