While in the final stages of preparation for his next outing, junior welterweight champion Josh Taylor took time out to discuss The Ring’s current pound for pound list.

The undefeated Scotsman, who is rated No. 5 in the mythical ratings, offered a unique insight into his contemporaries and talked candidly about the fighters on the list that he may face off against in the future.

“I know the fight [against Terence Crawford] could be harder to make now that he’s away from Top Rank,” said Taylor. “But I’ve got a great team around me in MTK and I think it can be made pretty easily and pretty swiftly. I think it would be a great fight to watch.”

Taylor will defend his titles against England’s Jack Catterall on February 26th in Glasgow, Scotland.
