Each week Hall of Fame commentator Al Bernstein brings you a preview of the weekend’s boxing action from around the world.

This week Al previews the junior featherweight showdown between WBC titleholder Luis Nery and Ring-rated (No. 4) Brandon Figueroa, which takes place on Saturday at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, the site of so many great fights over the years. Al believes Nery-Figueroa will live up to the reputation of the venue and produce a 122-pound war for the ages.

Nery-Figueroa headlines a Showtime Championship Boxing card, that also includes former unified 122-pound beltholder Daniel Roman. Al will be a part of the Showtime commentary team.
