RingTV’s Cynthia Conte caught up with junior welterweight slugger Alex “El Cholo” Saucedo (30-1, 19 KOs), who was undefeated until suffering his first professional loss to Maurice Hooker in a November 2018 bid for the WBO title. Saucedo takes on Arnold Barboza Jr. (24-0, 10 KOs) in a WBO-eliminator on Oct. 17 in Las Vegas, in the co-main to the anticipated ESPN-televised lightweight championship between Ring/WBO/WBA champ Vasiliy Lomachenko and IBF titleholder Teofimo Lopez. Saucedo boldly says he will win by KO, and then “take over” the 140-pound division.
