Brandon Rios recaptured his peak form and fierceness with his brutal three-round stoppage of Mike Alvarado in their welterweight rubber match. Rios is now a player at 147 pounds, while Alvarado’s future is in doubt. However, fans should thank Alvarado for the many ring wars he’s provided, fights that may have shortened his career.
