Joe Louis, arguably the greatest heavyweight of all time, and Henry Armstrong, one of the finest pound-for-pound, had some excellent company during the 1930s. The likes of Barney Ross, Tony Canzoneri, Panama Al Brown and Lou Ambers all threw down in this decade.
