No cable? No problem: Gennady Golovkin vs. Canelo Alvarez II to be available online
Attention cord cutters…
If you want to watch the Gennady Golovkin vs. Canelo Alvarez grudge rematch on September 15, but have snipped the cord on your cable box, you will be OK.
The promoters of the tango, which unfolds at the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas, want to reach as many interested viewers as possible.
“Yes, we did very well with online sales for the last fight because ‘GGG’ fans are a young demographic,” said Golovkin’s promoter Tom Loeffler.
“Online sales will be available to be purchased through Sony PlayStation, Fite.tv, caneloggg.com and RingTV.com. We will make this fight as accessible as possible for people to purchase that don’t have cable or satellite subscriptions.”
Details on this method of purchase will be made public soon.
