Young gun rumbler Errol Spence Jr. (23-0, 20 knockouts) is now ensconced on most pundits’ Top 10 pound-for-pound lists, moving into the Top 5 on a good portion of those theoretical musing charts.

Anticipation is on high to see the Texas-based IBF welterweight titlist glove up again but we will have to wait a spell, a bit longer than maybe he’d even like, because Spence loves the sweet and savage science and would love to fight contstantly. On June 9, he gets his chance again, in Dallas, Texas, when he meets up with Carlos Ocampo (22-0, 13 KOs), from Mexico.

Spence’s title will be up for grabs and another will be at stake on the card, a source informs us, with word that WBC super middleweight beltholder David Benavidez (22-0, 17 KOs) will be in support, defending against the ever enigmatic TBA.

Gentlemen and ladies: Start your engines of speculation…Who will test Benavidez in Texas?
