LAS VEGAS — Middleweight contender Curtis Stevens defeated James De La Rosa by a unanimous 10-round decision on the Sergey Kovalev-Andre Ward card Saturday at T-Mobile Arena.

Stevens (29-5, 21 knockouts) was the aggressor for most the fight, which saw a number of entertaining exchanges in the early rounds. De La Rosa (23-5, 13 KOs) went down once and Stevens was docked one point for a low blow.
