Light heavyweight prospects Travis Peterkin and Radivoje (Hot Rod) Kalajdzic will meet in a ShoBox main event on Sept. 23 at Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma, promoter Lou DiBella said on Thursday. Peterkin-Radivoje will headline a quadruple-header telecast, he said.

The light heavyweight fight pits two intriguing youngsters hoping to crack through to the next tier. Kalajdzic (21-1, 14 knockouts) nearly upset former U.S. Olympian Marcus Browne in a controversial split decision loss on April 16. Peterkin (16-0-1), a strong, physical fighter, won a pedestrian eight-round decision against Larry Pryor in March and has yet to fulfill his potential in his career. “A guy who should be undefeated against a guy who is undefeated,” DiBella said.

Junior welterweight prospect Ivan Baranchyk (11-0, 10 knockouts) and rising welterweight Ivan Golub (12-0, 10 KOs) are set to appear in separate bouts on the broadcast. Undefeated heavyweight, Trey Lippe-Morrison, son of the late Tommy (The Duke) Morrison, is also scheduled to appear on the program against an opponent to be determined.
