Super middleweight contender George Groves defeated Martin Murray by a one-sided unanimous decision Saturday in London.
Groves (24-3, 18 knockouts) outboxed Murray (33-4-1, 16 KOs) from beginning to end. He won by the same score on all three cards, 118-110, or 10-2 in rounds.
Groves has now won three consecutive fights after going 2-3 in his previous five, which included two knockout losses against Carl Froch. This is arguably Groves’ biggest victory since he narrowly outpointed James DeGale in 2011.
