The fight is on.

That was the message delivered by Ravone Littlejohn, president of Adrien Broner’s About Billions company on Thursday night. Even though sources say that Broner is wanted for felonious assault and aggravated robbery for an alleged incident that took place in Cincinnati on Jan. 21, Littlejohn told RingTV.com that Broner’s junior welterweight title match with Ashley Theophane on April 1 at the DC Armory in Washington, D.C., would still go on.

“Yes it will, of course, nothing has changed,” Littlejohn told RingTV.com in a brief phone interview. Broner was going about his business as if nothing unusual was afoot, Littlejohn said. Broner has been preparing for his fight, which is co-promoted by Mayweather Promotions and About Billions. “We’re going to get a physical now with the doctor in D.C.,” Littlejohn said. “The fight is on. You can speak to Adrien in a little while if you want,” he said before the line went dead. About Billions is the catch-all phrase that comprises Broner’s record label and promotional company and internet reality series.
