Two of Golden Boy Promotions’ top unbeaten prospects commence the 2016 ‘LA Fight Club’ series.

Featherweights Julian Ramirez and Abraham Lopez will fight in separate, 10-round bouts on Jan. 29 at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, Calif.

Both bouts will air live on Estrella TV, beginning at 10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT. RingTVLive.com will air preliminary action, which begins at 5:30 p.m. PT.

The southpaw Ramirez (15-0, 8 knockouts) won a one-sided, 10-round decision over Hugo Partida in his last bout on Oct. 3 in Carson, Calif. The 22-year-old East Los Angeles resident has an aggressive style but has begun utilizing more-effective ring generalship in his last several fights.

Ramirez is managed by Joel De La Hoya.

Lopez (19-0-1, 14 KOs) has not fought since Aug. 6, when he stopped Jorge Diaz after the ninth round in Los Angeles. It was his third fight since taking a three-year hiatus from boxing, during which he completed his education to become a respiratory therapist.

The 28-year-old Lopez also has wins over Aaron Garcia, Gabriel Tolmajyan, and Alfred Tetteh. He resides in nearby La Puente.
