Nonito Donaire, Jose Ramirez to co-headline Macau card on July 18


Four-division titleholder Nonito Donarie and 2012 U.S. Olympian Jose Ramirez will headline an UniMas-televised card on July 18 at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Arena in Macau.

Donaire faces France’s Anthony Settoul in a 10-round junior featherweight bout. Ramirez, a unbeaten junior welterweight prospect who hails from central California, will open the telecast in an eight-round bout against Ryusei Yoshida, of Japan.

The undercard of the Top Rank-promoted show, which will be streamed live in the U.S. on (beginning at 6:00 a.m. ET), will feature undefeated junior welterweight standout Cesar Cuenca against “IK” Lian Hui Yang for the vacant IBF 140-pound belt. The live stream will also feature top-rated lightweight contender Denis Shafikov and undefeated junior bantamweight Rex Tso, from Hong Kong, in separate bouts.
