Junior featherweight prospect Joseph Diaz Jr. has been added to the undercard of the Mauricio Herrera-Hank Lundy junior welterweight fight on July 11 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena, Golden Boy Promotions announced on Thursday.

Diaz (16-0, 10 knockouts), a 2012 U.S. Olympian from South El Monte, California, is coming off an impressive 10-round unanimous decision over Giovanni Delgado in the co-featured bout to the May 9 Canelo Alvarez-James Kirkland fight in Houston. Diaz will be fighting for the third time in 2015. The July 11 main event of Herrera-Lundy, the co-featured bout between once-beaten lightweights Sharif Bogere and Mike Perez, and the Diaz fight will be televised on HBO Latino.
