Brooklyn, NY – Brooklyn Brawl,” the popular series from promoter Dmitriy Salita’s Star of David Promotions, will partner with the Paramount Events Center to produce tomorrow night’s card at the Paramount Theatre on the campus of Long Island University in Downtown Brooklyn.

The Paramount Events Center was launched by real estate developer Bruce Ratner and will be overseen by Barclay’s Center CEO Brett Yormark.

“This June 4 boxing event will reintroduce Brooklyn’s Paramount Theatre to the sports community,” said Yormark. “This will be our first event since we took over control of the theater. Dmitriy has provided great opportunites for aspiring fighters and we are looking forward to working with him to solidify our grassroots boxing efforts in Brooklyn.”

The card will be headlined by undefeated heavyweight prospect Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller (12-0-1, 10 knockouts) and will feature other rising prospects from Brooklyn. Miller, who also hails from Brooklyn, is coming off an impressive first round TKO victory over Raymond Ochieng last month in Minnesota, televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.

Salita’s Brooklyn Brawl series is building a reputation for putting on competitive bouts including last year’s “Fight of the Year” candidate
between Junior Wright and Steve Bujaj.

“I am thrilled to work with the Barclays Center and bringing the first event to this great theater,” said Salita. “Barclays Center has put on some of the best fights in boxing recently and I am honored to be a part of this great Brooklyn boxing brand.”

Barclays Center has become a busy venue for boxing recently with Amir’s Khan victory over Chris Algieri on Premier Boxing Champions last weekend and this Saturday night’s Miguel Cotto-Daniel Geale world middleweight championship bout.
