Manny Pacquiao’s unanimous decision loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. caused the Filipino superstar to drop a notch or two in THE RING’s welterweight rankings and in the magazine’s Pound-for-Pound Top 10.

Pound For Pound: Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38 knockouts) drops from No. 3 to No. 5. The Ratings Panel suggested removing Timothy Bradley, who was winless last year, out of the ratings. Former lightweight champ and current 140-pound beltholder Terrence Crawford (26-0, 18 KOs) will move into the mythical rankings at No. 10.

No. 1. Mayweather (48-0, 26 KOs)

No. 2. Wladimir Klitsckho (64-3, 53 KOs)

No. 3. Roman Gonzalez (42-0, 36 KOs)

No. 4. Guillermo Rigondeaux (15-0, 10 KOs)

No. 5. Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38 KOs)

No. 6. Carl Froch (33-2, 24 KOs)

No. 7. Gennady Golovkin (32-0, 29 KOs)

No. 8. Sergey Kovalev (27-0-1, 24 KOs)

No. 9 Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40 KOs)

No. 10. Terrence Crawford (26-0, 16 KOs)

Welterweight: Mayweather won a clear unanimous decision over Pacquiao, despite the congressman’s post-fight denial. Pacquiao will drop to No. 2 and switch places with unbeaten IBF beltholder Kell Brook (34-0, 23 KOs), who moved up to No. 1.

Lightweight: No. 2-rated Raymundo Beltran (30-7-1, 18 KOs) beat unrated Takahiro Ao by KO in the second round in a bout for the vacant WBO title. However, Beltran failed to make weight, so the title remains vacant. No change.

Junior lightweight: No. 2-rated Takashi Miura (29-2-2, 22 KOs) stopped unrated Billy Dibb in the third round. No change.

Featherweight: After a slow early round start No. 4-rated Vasyl Lomachenko (4-1, 2 KOs) sprang to life and stopped unrated Gamalier Rodriguez in the ninth round. No change.

Junior featherweight: No. 2-rated Leo Santa Cruz (30-0-1, 17 KOs) won a UD over unrated Jose Cayetano in his featherweight debut. No change.
