NEW YORK — World heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko weighed in at 241.6 pounds Friday for his defense against Bryant Jennings on Saturday at Madison Square Garden. Jennings, in his first world title fight, weighed 226.8 pounds.

Klitschko (63-3, 53 knockouts) is making the 18th defense of the IBF title he won by stopping Chris Byrd in 2006. The Ukrainian is also the RING, WBA and WBO champion. He is coming off a sensational fifth-round knockout of Kubrat Pulev in November.

Jennings (19-0, 10 KOs) defeated Mike Perez by a split decision in his most recent fight, in July. The Philadelphian turned pro in 2010.
