Three-time world heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali, who was released on Jan. 6 from a hospital after recovering from a severe urinary tract infection, has been admitted once again on Thursday to undisclosed facility for followup care, family spokesman Bob Gunnell informed the Associated Press.

Ali, who turns 73 on Saturday, was initially hospitalized on Dec. 20 with what was believed to be a mild case of pneumonia that was later determined to be a severe urinary tract infection.

“There were still issues with the urinary tract infection,” Gunnell told The AP.

Ali has been waging a battle with Parkinson’s disease for three decades.
