Perfect Execution, the popular illustrated technical guide to boxing by legendary champion Bernard Hopkins, is back as a regular feature in the pages of THE RING magazine. That includes the April 2015 issue, which is on newsstands now.

RingTV’s Bill Emes ventured to Philadelphia, prior to Hopkins’ IBF-WBA light heavyweight title unification victory over Beibut Shumenov, to capture a behind-the-scenes look at the photo shoot and interview for the ongoing series.

The ninth installment of the new Perfect Execution focuses on combination punching.

“The purpose of combination punching is to always keep your opponent guessing,” says Hopkins. “He can’t know where the next punch is coming from. … If you throw accurate combinations, your opponent won’t know what area to defend himself.”
