Gabriel Rosado will face David Lemieux in the middleweight main event of a planned HBO tripleheader on Dec. 6 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, according Golden Boy Vice President and matchmaker Eric Gomez. The scheduled 12-round bout will be be supported by another middleweight matchup between Hugo Centeno and James De La Rosa.

“Those two fights are signed and they’re done,” said Gomez, confirming an earlier report by Yahoo!Sports. “It’s a doubleheader right now, but it could possibly be a tripleheader. We’re looking at options.”

Rosado (21-8, 13 knockouts) has fought as a junior middleweight and a middleweight. Lemeiux (32-2, 30 KOs) has competed both as a middleweight and super middleweight.

A two-time former middleweight title challenger, Rosado, 28, was scheduled to fight James Kirkland on the Nov. 8 undercard of the Bernard Hopkins-Sergey Kovalev light heavyweight title unification bout before Kirkland pulled out of the fight.

Lemieux, 25, scored his seventh straight win and his fifth knockout during that run with a third-round TKO of Fernando Guerrero in May.

De La Rosa (23-2, 13 KOs), 26, is coming off last month’s unanimous decision over Alfredo Angulo, whom he dropped in the second round of their Floyd Mayweather-Marcos Maidana undercard bout.

In his last fight in June, Centeno (21-0, 11 KOs), 23, unanimously decisioned Gerardo Ibarra.

Although the other bouts being considered are not finalized, according to Gomez, one could match junior welterweights Thomas Dulorme (21-1, 14 KOs), 24, and Frankie Gomez (18-0, 13 KOs), who is 22.
