WBO junior middleweight beltholder Demetrius Andrade is bound for Showtime after having fought his past two bouts on network rival HBO, according to a report by ESPN.com.

Joe DeGuardia of Star Boxing, who co-promotes Andrade, 26, with Artie Pelullo of Banner Promotions, would neither confirm nor deny the move. Pelullo could not be reached for an immediate comment.

In his past two bouts, Andrade (21-0, 14 KOs) defeated previously unbeaten Vanes Martirosyan by split decision for the vacant belt last November and scored a seventh round stoppage of Brian Rose in June. In his previous fight in January 2013, Andrade unanimously decisioned Freddy Hernandez on Showtime.

“We’re shooting for a date of Dec. 13,” said Pelullo of Andrade’s targeted return date during an earlier interview with RingTV.com. “Everything else is up in the air.”

Andrade’s move comes in the wake of RING No. 1-rated junior middleweight Canelo Alvarez’s jump to HBO from Showtime, the latter of which has a multi-fight, multi-million dollar deal with RING No. 1-rated pound-for-pound fighter Floyd Mayweather Jr., who holds THE RING’s welterweight and junior middleweight championships.

THE RING’s No. 5-rated 154-pounder, Andrade was last in action against Rose at Barclays Center. Rose represented Andrade’s first defense of the WBO belt.
