Perfect Execution, the popular illustrated technical guide to boxing by legendary champion Bernard Hopkins, is back as a regular feature in the pages of THE RING magazine, continuing with the October 2014 issue. RingTV’s Bill Emes ventured to Philadelphia, prior to Hopkins’ IBF-WBA light heavyweight title unification victory over Beibut Shumenov, to capture a behind-the-scenes look at the photo shoot and interview for the ongoing series.

The fifth installment of the new Perfect Execution focuses on blocking and countering. In Hopkins’ words, “Countering always tells an opponent that something is coming back at him.”
