WBO junior bantamweight beltholder Omar Narvaez will have a rematch with Felipe Orucuta on Sept. 6 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, WBO President Paco Valcarcel informed RingTV.com on Monday.

Narvaez (42-1-2, 23 knockouts), a 38-year-old native of Trelew, Chubut, Argentina, will be making the 11th defense of his belt against Orucuta (29-2, 24 KOs), whom he defeated by split-decision last May.

Valcarcel said that Narvaez's representative, O.R. Promotions, out-bid All Star Boxing, $401,500-to-$301,000, on Monday for the right to handle Narvaez-Orucuta.

Since rising in weight for a unanimous decision loss to Nonito Donaire at 118 pounds in October 2011, Narvaez has won seven consecutive fights, four of them by stoppage, including the past three. Narvaez was last in action for a fourth-round knockout of Antonio Garcia in May.

Orcuta has won two bouts since falling to Narvaez, and is coming off a 10th-round technical knockout of Gabriel Francisco Pina in May.
