IBF and WBA light heavyweight titleholder Bernard Hopkins will be among those featured in next month's ESPN The Magazine's Body Issue, which is scheduled to hit the news stands on July 11, according to a press release.

Hopkins will be pictured alongside 21 other athletes, including tennis champion Venus Williams, Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps, Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch and Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka.

"Being a part of the Body Issue is something I will never forget," said Hopkins, 49. "I am thrilled to be recognized with the great lineup of athletes included in this year's magazine as well as in past issues. I hope that these pictures inspire people to want to be healthy, especially the over 40 crowd who I work hard to represent in and out of the ring."

The selection of Hopkins (55-6-2, 32 knockouts) follows that of former RING middleweight champion Sergio Martinez in 2011, who appeared along with the LA Clippers' Blake Griffin, the St. Louis Rams’ Steven Jackson and the New York Mets' Jose Reyes.

In 2010, WBO welterweight titleholder Manny Pacquiao was in the magazine with athletes such as Dwight Howard and Serena Williams.

In his last fight in April, Hopkins dethroned WBA beltholder Beibut Shumenov by split-decision. Already having twice eclipsed the record for being the oldest man to win a significant crown, Hopkins' win over Shumenov made him the eldest fighter to unify a pair of titles.
