Perfect Execution, the popular illustrated technical guide to boxing by legendary champion Bernard Hopkins, is back as a regular feature in the pages of THE RING magazine, continuing with the August 2014 issue. RingTV’s Bill Emes ventured to Philadelphia, prior to Hopkins’ recent IBF-WBA light heavyweight title unification victory over Beibut Shumenov, to caputure a behind-the-scenes look at the photo shoot and interview for the ongoing series.

The second installment of the new Perfect Execution focuses on the hook, one of boxing’s most devastating weapon’s – if it is delivered correctly. Learn from Hopkins the right way and the wrong way to throw a hook, as well as how to execute specialty hooks, such as the “shovel hook.”
