Top Rank CEO Bob Arum expects his fighter, unbeaten lightweight Terence Crawford, to score "a decisive victory" against WBO titleholder Ricky Burns on March 1 before Burns' partisan fans at Scottish Exhibition Centre, Glasgow, Scotland.

"It's a hostile environment, but it's not a dangerous environment. It's hostile only in the sense that they'll be cheering for Burns," Arum said during a recent video interview for AWE, which will air the fight live in the U.S. "So I think that Crawford will be okay in that type of atmosphere, and I look for him to win a decisive victory over Burns."

A winner of eight title defenses, Burns (36-2-1, 11 knockouts) is returning to the site of his controversial draw with Ray Beltran last September, during which he suffered a broken jaw and was dropped in the eighth round.

Crawford (22-0, 16 KOs) was last in the ring for a unanimous decision over Andrey Klimov last October, and Arum said he has spoken to WBO President Paco Valcarcel about the potential for controversy and the prospect of having "neutral officials."

"I am concerned about that. I've talked to Paco Valcarcel, the head of the WBO, and he has assured me that there will be better judges for the Burns-Crawford fight," said Arum.

"This is a very big fight for Crawford. We have high hopes for Crawford becoming a super star. First, he's got to take care of business in Scotland, to fight Burns, and I'm sure that we're going to see a terrific fight and a terrific performance from Crawford."
