Juan Manuel Marquez KO 9 Tim Bradley: I’ve got Juan Manuel Marquez winning by a ninth-round stoppage. Marquez is the more superior fighter and he’s a boxer who has been in with much better opponents. I watch boxing all of the time, and Tim Bradley should already have two losses on his record, if you ask me.

Record: 0-0

Tim Bradley W 12 Juan Manuel Marquez: To me, this is about as tough a decision as soup or salad. Aask me again in two days. Don’t like what Tim Bradley said about his post-fight condition after last fight. However, Bradley is younger, and relatively fresher.

Juan Manuel Marquez is a sure Hhall of Famer, but not that big naturally, and he was losing the Manny Pacquiao fight. I don’t think he can duplicate that ending again, at least not against Bradley. Tim’s hand speed will be the difference.

Juan Manuel Marquez TKO 11 Timothy Bradley: This is a toss-up fight. Juan Manuel Marquez is stronger, but Timothy Bradley is more athletic. Marquez has problems with fighters who can move.

Bradley barely survived a life-and-death encounter with tough Ruslan Provodnikov last March. Marquez has developed more power in the later stages of his career.

I can see Bradley getting off to a lead in the fight by using his speed, but eventually Marquez will rock him. Marquez will rally late and stop Bradley.

Record: 6-3 [Klitschko TKO 10 Povetkin]

Juan Manuel Marquez KO 10 Tim Bradley: I think that Juan Manuel Marquez is motivated by pressure that he has on him, and I think that Tim Bradley received a gift decision when he fought Manny Pacquiao.

I think that the Pacquiao fight took a lot out of Bradley, and that Bradley is going to want to prove, yet again, to the world that he can stand in there with the best pound-for-pound fighters out there.

Because Bradley still is feeling that pressure to prove himself, that’s what is going to make him come to Marquez, and I think that he’ll get caught and that he’ll get knocked out.

Record: 1-0 [Stevenson KO 6 Cloud]

Juan Manuel Marquez KO 6 Tim Bradley: This is an excellent fight on paper and arguably the most difficult to pick this year. After Juan Manuel Marquez beat Manny Pacquiao last December, I remember feeling that he had gotten lucky and that he had very little left in the gas tank.

Then, in March, after Tim Bradley barely beat Ruslan Provodnikov, I remember feeling the same way about him. I also remember feeling, after both Marquez;s and Bradley;s most recent fights, that the type of fight they were just in was so brutal that it probably shortened their careers significantly.

So, to me, this comes down to who is less shopworn: Bradley or Marquez? After much internal debate, I just can’t pick Bradley knowing that he felt the effects of his fight with Provodnikov for months afterward. That’s not a good sign for him as he goes up against a highly-motivated Marquez.

Marquez is a boxer who, by the way, who has come under scrutiny for potential use of some alternative methods in his preparations. Would I be shocked if Bradley was able to out-box his opponent long enough to secure a decision win? No.

Boxers have bounced back from the type of war he was just in, but it’s a rare occasion when they do. If Provodnikov could concuss Bradley, I have to assume Marquez should be able to complete the job.

Tim Bradley MD 12 Juan Manuel Marquez: This a very tough fight to pick. I am going with Tim Bradley in this one. I feel he will dig down deep and find a way to force his will on Juan Manuel Marquez. I think Tim will be buzzed a few times.

But if he finds a way to keep the fight in close quarters, he should have success. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Marquez win controversially on the cards but I’m leaning towards Bradley by majority decision.

Record: 12-5 [Mayweather W 12 Alvarez]

Cliff Rold, BoxingScene.com

Juan Manuel Marquez KO Tim Bradley: Tim Bradley struggled to survive Rusland Provodnikov. Juan Manuel Marquez is smaller, but more complete. Marquez’s precision will eventually be too much.

Record: 16-8 [Klitschko KO Povetkin]

Michael Rosenthal, THE RING Magazine

Tim Bradley W 12 Juan Manuel Marquez: I can’t remember a tougher pick in recent fights. I want to say Tim Bradley will eke out a decision because of his speed and mobility, but I’m not sure what his brutal fight against Ruslan Provodnikov has taken out of him.

Sometimes fighters are never the same after a war like that. I’m going to stick with my hunch, though. I think Bradley will go back to boxing instead of brawling and win a very close decision over Juan Manuel Marquez.
